Most people tend to play it safe when it comes to their style. What's the fun in that? Wearing black tank tops and jeans everyday? Basic straightened shoulder length hair? Grey hoodies with no patterns? Limiting your shopping to only Abercrombie? It's all so boring and overdone. Everywhere you look it's the same styles from the same store. It's the style of safety.
Everyone is different on the inside, so we ought to show just how different we are on the outside. There is no need to be afraid. People will love us as we come, and if they don't they are not worth the time. If someone decides that they don't like us because of the colorful tights on our legs or the feathered hat on our head, we shouldn't bother with them. Do we really want to change who we are just to be accepted? Is that really what is going to make us happy? Friends won't expect us to alter ourselves; they wouldn't want us to either.
So many stores sell unique one of a kind clothing, that is fun to wear. It's so sad that these stores often don't profit well because people are afraid to wear their products. It's time people stop worrying so much about what is "in." To be a true beauty, you have to stand out. And you can't stand out if you just go with the flow. Dare to be bold. Dare to be you.
